Personal Note from Iris
I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, and earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Tampa.
For years, I worked in healthcare, but I often found myself helping friends and family search for venues, plan special occasions, and decorate their events. I have always enjoyed creating spaces that make people feel welcomed and celebrated.
As I attended and planned events throughout the years, I often felt that the cost of renting a venue did not match the time, space, service, or personal attention being provided. I knew there had to be a better way.
I dreamed of opening my own venue, but like many people, I allowed fear and procrastination to delay the dream. Through my faith in God and the encouragement of my family and friends, I finally decided to move forward.
In May 2017, that dream became A Level Up Rental Hall. The current site identifies the venue’s founding date as May 2017.
I created this space so people in Tampa could have a venue where they feel valued rather than treated like another reservation on the calendar. Every event represents something important to the person hosting it, and I want our service to reflect that.
You can decorate the space yourself and make it completely your own, or our team can support you with setup, linens, chair covers, backdrops, centerpieces, room preparation, and other event details.
